Bihar Thermal Spa
Our city is home to the fully renovated and expanded Bihar Thermal Forest Beach and Spa, which provides a great opportunity to rejuvenate. The first pool of the bath, which is now officially recognized as having medicinal water, was built in 1927. The medicinal water well, whose 63 °C thermal water was declared medicinal water by the National General Directorate of Spas and Spas of the Ministry of Social Welfare in 1997, provides the sodium, hydrogen carbonate, and metasilicic acid medicinal water of the spa with a rich mineral content.
As a result of a 2009 tender within the framework of the Northern Great Plain Regional Operative Program, five new pools were built, the environment of the spa was modernized, and the spa was enriched with many new services. As a result of all this, the new face of the institution was formed, the Bihar Thermal Park, which offers both opportunities to revitalize with baths, sauna or thermal therapy, as well as opportunities for sports activities and fun.
Bihar Termálliget welcomes sauna lovers with a renewed world of saunas: a Finnish sauna, an infrared sauna, a steam cabin and a salt room are available to our guests.
